Stuart has been selling houses for us since he began real estate almost 30 years ago. He has moved us several times and we have referred him to many of our friends including family to him. He has always been there for us and responds right away to any of our requests. We know he is very successful now and has a team but always takes the time to call us himself. He has marketed our homes both in York Region & Simcoe County and is unique with his marketing of both areas. We know that most agents just work one or the other areas but he has always been one to go wherever his clients need him. We have been moving further north each move and now that we are retired he found us a perfect home. We would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of selling or buying a home. Stuart was professional start to finish. He makes a lot of promises and delivers on all of them. His marketing skills and 30 years experience came in handy when he got us multiple offers which resulted in us selling for over asking. I would not recommend Stuart to anyone. I didn't like him as a relator, or as a person. He was the epitome of a "slimy sales person." He spent a lot of time bragging about his possessions (big house, flashy cars, expensive cologne)..perhaps some people are impressed by this, but I prefer to be impressed by actions, not words. Stuart was all talk, no show. He lured us in by telling us that he had a professional photographer, stager, etc., on his team. When it came down to it, he ran through the house on listing day, taking mediocre (at best) pictures, while offering zero staging advice. He rushed through the listing, making multiple mistakes, all of which I corrected after viewing the listing online. On top of this, Stuart convinced us to list our home at a lower than market price because to play into a strategy that the low price would bring about lots of interest and get us more than asking. The strategy didn't work and we were offered lower than our desired price. Perhaps if I had a home worth more than a half a million, Stuart would have cared to spend more time. Unfortunately, we felt like we were not important enough for his busy schedule. - Marie
