Beaverbrook Art Gallery

What is Beaverbrook Art Gallery?

The Beaverbrook Art Gallery was gifted to the people of New Brunswick by Lord Beaverbrook (Sir Max Aitken) and officially opened to the public on September 16, 1959. It was designated as the Provincial Art Gallery on December 2, 1994. As the art gallery of New Brunswick, the Beaverbrook Art Gallery’s services extend to the public from all regions, languages and cultures of the province. We work collaboratively with galleries, museums and art centres in the Atlantic region to produce shared activities and exhibitions. Our works of art are loaned and toured extensively and we welcome and share our programs with visitors from many parts of the globe. The Beaverbrook Art Gallery’s core activities are exhibitions, education, collecting and outreach.

Cities served include Fredericton.
