What is Thrive for Good?

Our Mission Create a scalable model that empowers trainers to transform communities by teaching sustainable, natural and organic agriculture leading them to be disease-fighting and income generating. Our Hope for their Future Thrive, was created to protect children at risk. We're achieving this vision by building the capacity of African communities to care for the orphans in their midst. Our approach is multi-pronged; we're focusing on four key goals of food security, nutritional training, disease prevention, and income generation. Our strategies center on rural, farming communities, because we believe Africa's future depends on its ability to transform agriculture. Agriculture in Africa has constraints in farming that are unique. By addressing these constraints, Thrive will help the extremely poor in Africa lift themselves to the next rung of development, creating a brighter future for the orphans in their communities. Because organic agriculture projects are central to our strategy, we're also contributing to a greener environment for orphans to inherit. Our program is low-cost, community-based and sustainable.
