Cindy and her team are amazing! No other word for it. Absolutely outstanding. Our situation was especially challenging in that we were selling, from afar, the house for an elderly family member who was not well and who had resided in the house for over 50 years. As we lived in another city a good one and a half hours away we could only make the trip to sort, clear and pack once a week. But Cindy transformed what was for us an overwhelming situation, both emotionally and logistically, into a manageable step-wise process. Every week, after we sorted, she and her team would remove whatever we could not or did not want to take. And there was lots!! She also always made herself available, responding to any messages promptly. We kept saying “she is too good to be true!” As well, her years of experience have given her an intuitive psychological insight into what this move meant for our family member and what it meant for us and because of that she was able to offer insightful support and advice for which we will always be deeply grateful. When we were too far away to do so, she would even reach out to our family member, checking up on his well-being, making her seem more like a family member than a realtor! The house went on the market over Christmas and the New Year, not optimal times for putting a house on the market, and also at a time when the market was down, but again, with her expertise she was able to sell it for a price we were extremely happy with and in record time. I don't know where to begin with Cindy DaCosta. After my fiance and I have had a terrible lost with our Condo I didn't think it would be possible to find a home let alone afford one, Having Cindy by our side has definitely made it possible if there was ever a house that came up it was almost the next day Cindy had booked a viewing to go see it whether it was Woodstock, Brantford, Kitchener or Ayr there was no distance she wasn't willing to go to, and her experience really showed through when she would bring things up during the walk though that could be potentially cost in the future or even if the Seller was being unreasonable with their price. If there was a place that we found she would research the area to see average selling prices and trends to allow us to make a competitive but safe offer when purchasing. She even found out for us one time that the house that we loved only came with 1 parking spot despite the selling agent saying there was 2 because she looking though all of the permits and zoning of the house and found that the shared parking lot was not part of the house and we could be told that we couldnt use it in the future which definitely isn't ideal. This last year really has been hard on me and my fiance but Cindy was able to make it easy with always messaging us back quickly whether it was booking viewings or just answering questions that we had about houses that we saw. I would recommend Cindy Dacosta to everyone I know and if it was possible I would give more then 5 stars, I am moving into my dream home almost 30k under asking because Cindy was there to push back against the selling agent and we are now able to afford a home that before would've looked unattainable.
