Elaine knows her market very well and helped us sell our home in less than one day of listing. She is very responsive and provided us with excellent advice. We would happily use her services again. - Henri Alvarez
Reply: thank you Henri and Karen. Working with you was a great experience for me. Always a pleasure to work with sellers who take meticulous care of their home. Sorry to see you move from this area. I wish prosperity follows you everywhere
MLS showed one of Elaine's properties as having an open house today. I phoned her to confirm the open house. I stated 'Hi, my name's Robert. I just wanted to confirm the open house at (address) today'. Elaine made a 'huff', in an annoyed voice stated 'NO, it's got an offer. GOOD BYE!'. She did not ask me what I was looking for, if I was looking for any other properties, or anything to aid me as a buyer. The property still shows online as having an open house. When I looked at the other listings on her website, some are sold already. She lacks minimal professionalism, and does not understand that being a realtor is about building relationships. I am looking at investing in several properties, but I would not include her in any of my transactions. - Robert Giroday
Reply: This gentleman was confused as to which listing he was calling on. The open house he was referring to was advertised on realtor.ca for one week earlier so he missed the open house. After the scheduled open we received 4 offers and the seller chose the best one. The fellow did not introduce himself as an investor as this complex does not allow rentals so it is investor unfriendly. I suggest this buyer enter into a buyers agency with a realtor who can screen properties for him and eliminate his frustration. I send my buyers new active listings with their desired criteria and sale prices which helps them narrow down their viewings. Best of luck to you Robert, I apologize to you for the misunderstanding.

Reply: MLS showed the property as having an open house 'this Saturday amd Sunday' with no dates. This was not me being confused or mistaken. The realtor did not remove the open house notification - that's her mistake, and pretty amatuerish. Furthermore, when someone calls a realtor to inquire about a property, the MINIMUM that the realtor should do as a course of their duties is try to find out what that person is looking for and provide options. Shouting 'GOOD BYE' into the phone at someone and hanging up isn't trying to assist in a property search. The reason I didn't advise her that I was looking for investment properties is because I want to deal with someone who doesn't value me for how many properties I'm looking to buy. A professional, an adult even, treats all clients the same. The fact that this person tried to shift the onus onto me instead of saying "I mistakenly left an undated open house notification up and I was rude and inappropriate with a prospective client" shows a crude lack of personal and professional responsibility. Grow up, Elaine.
We absolutely loved Elaine's care about finding a home for a young family!! Couldn't have done it better! - Chelsea Harding
Elaine went above and beyond what was expected. With my Fathers passing I had a house to clear of personal effects. Elaine worked around the boxes, staged the house and did carpet cleaning, It was a giant weight off my shoulders and I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone selling their home. - Katherine Mytkowicz
