Elias Godoy (Remax) sold me a forclosure in 2006 and it was the worst service. As a first time home buyer I was naive, and when he convinced me to increase my bid because he said there was a competitive bid (on a foreclosure that had sat for 2 years) by 25k, I blindly trusted him and did it. He did not show up for my closing, and was more or less absent during the entire process, I did most of the work on my own. After I closed on the house, it turns out the property was in a flood plane. Overall, he is dishonest and a shady real estate agent who provided little value.
