After selling our house (with a different realtor that we didn’t really care for), we still hadn’t found the “perfect home” to move into, despite already looking for a year. We read glowing reviews of Mel online and made the switch to her. She certainly exceeded our expectations. From day one, she was committed, professional, transparent, and clearly explained everything we needed to know about shopping for and purchasing a home. It is clear that Mel has been in this business for a while and is passionate about what she does, as she is extremely knowledgeable. Every decision she made with us was logical and well thought-out (i.e., based on past experience or current market statistics). She helped us expand our search criteria (for example, which neighborhoods to search in), as it was so narrow that we just weren’t finding the right house for us. While looking at homes, she could help us critically think about both the features and flaws of each house so that we were making an informed decision. It didn’t take us long to find a house we loved, and Mel expertly negotiated an excellent but fair price (I’m writing this review from my new kitchen that looks out onto the ravine we were looking for..thanks Mel!). The whole experience was just excellent. With all of the choices of realtors out there, why settle for someone who isn’t an expert in the industry? The only regret we have is not finding her sooner so that she could have been a part of selling our house (which we had done a week before meeting her). Thanks again Mel!
