We looked into the Doucet team for the sale of our home. Jacques Doucet seemed very knowledgeable, at first. He gave us a suggested listing price of $499K for our home, which I thought was a little low. We interviewed two other agents who both suggested listing at $529K. We listed with one of the other agents and sold the house for $525. Had we gone with Doucet we would have lost $25-$30K!!!! I felt at the time that he purposely suggested a lower price to guarantee a quick and easy commission at MY EXPENSE. Glad I stuck with my gut feeling as I got my price and sold in about 45 days. Bottom line: shop around!
