Rick Shea responded within in minutes of us registering on their website. He provided all the information we needed in the first phone call and scheduled an in-person meeting soon afterwards. We had a choice of agents, but we were in no doubt after meeting with Rick. The professionalism and efficiency of the Tanya Tierney Team is exemplary – from administration to staging and viewings, the whole team works together so well they take the stress out of selling your house. Everyone is helpful and responsive. We don’t recognize any of the behaviors described in the comments below – this was definitely not our experience. I contacted this company to sell my home based on a referral. Not only did it take them several days to respond, but they showed up 40mins late on the day of our first meeting. I was advised that I would get emails with more information the following two days. It's been over a week and I've heard nothing. Completely unprofessional. - Joanne

Went to go see a house they had listed with a confirmed appointment, only to show up to the house with a sold sign on it. Their behaviour is absolutely unprofessional. Happy to say we have never listed a house with them, and never will. - Kayla
Reply: We're sorry the house we listed sold to quickly and you didn't have time to see it but in that Marketplace things were going very quickly it probably sold the night before and we have to look out for the best interest of our clients best of luck in your search.

They are too busy and do not provide the quality of service that is expected from someone who will be earning about $17,000 from my purchase. Definitely find another agent that is not so busy and has the time to dedicate to their clients. And her husband is even worse! - Tony Brake

Rick was great, right up to the point where he screwed us on the sales commission. During our ‘interview’ before we decided on a real estate agent, we contracted with Rick that if Rick’s ‘Tierney’ team had both ends of the deal (selling and buying) the commission would be reduced from the initial total commission we agreed to. Through the couple weeks we prepared and then sold, his team was amazing. Above and beyond. However, when I discussed the commission with first my real estate lawyer after the sale, then Rick, he said some BS about telling both my wife and myself during the interview that if the deal had multiple offers, the total commission would be payable. We were really pissed at his interpretation as the whole plan was to get multiple offers and my wife and I both reiterated that. Rick didn’t give in and our perspective is that he intentionally agreed to the reduced commission because he reasonably expected to have both ends and multiple offers so there was no risk to him to agree to the reduced commission for having both ends of the sale. I’ve chewed on this for a couple months and couldn’t get past it so decided to provide it in my Google review. Be wary of agreements with your realtor and get it in writing before you officially engage. Rick manipulated our understanding and underlying agreement and I hope this helps other people who have invested in their home for many year and have to pay exorbitant realty fees. Currently realty fees are ridiculous and that’s why we made what was I thought a clear understanding at the outset. - Barry Misener
