Helping people buy a home requires different skills and experience than selling a home. Please do your research before hiring this agent to sell your home. Ask LOTS of questions. How many houses has she sold in the past year? How long were they on the market? What is her social media plan? Does she use a stager and a professional photographer? Ask for copies of brochures she has made for other homes she has sold. What is her plan if the home hasn't sold in 15, 30, 45 or more days? What does she do differently in a slow market? Interview as many agents as you need to until you are confident you have the right person to sell your home. Don't just use someone you used when buying a home or recommended by your colleague/neighbour/sister-in-law. Selling a home, especially in a slow market requires a completely different level of skill, commitment and energy, which this agent does not have. - Martha Elliott
